So this past weekend you were probably out in the streets celebrating St. Patrick, skipping while playing the fiddle like these two:

Right?
Probably not. If you did what I did you enjoyed a lot of this:

If you hung out with St. Patrick this weekend, here are a few (mostly) natural hangover cures:
1. Coconut water/ $2-$6
Replenishes nutrients and re-hydrates the bod. This stuff is low-cal, low-sugar juice from young coconuts. One of my favorite brands is VitaCoco because it doesn’t come in a can and offers many different flavors. Read more about one Time Magazine writer’s experience here. If you are having trouble deciding which brand to try first, take a look at the blog Delicious Obsessions – her article helps navigate the (coconut) waters.
2. Dr. Oz Style: Egg, aspirin, and coffee /$2-$10
If you are at work already this Monday morning and still feeling the hangover haze, maybe you should do breakfast for lunch. Many local diners will offer eggs, toast, and a coffee for a mere $5-$7. Save a few dollars by making yourself breakfast. My favorite brand of eggs are Eggland’s Best Cage-free, Organic Eggs. I love Eight O’ Clock Bean Coffee (COUPON offer if you click the top right corner) when I can’t afford organic, but since I brew daily I like to buy bigger bags at wholesale stores like Costco or Sam’s Club. Between the two, they always seem to offer an organic, or at the very least rainforest-friendly option. Read more about Dr. Oz’s advice featured on Oprah.com
3. Keep it GREEN: Fruit & veggie smoothies, wellness shots / $3-$10
If you haven’t tried wheat grass juice, now would be the perfect time. Wheat grass is packed with minerals and nutrients and per this article on GreenandSave.com, claims to help with hangovers. This awesome blog,Spusht, will teach you how to grow and juice wheat grass; though you may want to save this for another not to hang-over day. Many health food stores and cafes actually offer wheat grass juice/shots too from $3-$10 too. If wheat grass isn’t your thing, try the smoothie below:

Chelsea and Katie, thanks for the mention =)
And very glad you liked it!!
